Alternative methods for treating bladder cancer

Recently tested positive for the FISH-Urine test.  I have had surgerys, radiation, chemo for bladder cancer.spanning 2000 - 2005.  Apparently this test indicates that I am at high risk for recurrence of bladder cancer.  Is there a time span in which one would expect a recurrence?
Are there any alternative natural products that may help prevent a recurrence or treat bladder cancer?

My husband had his 18 months of BCG rounds and recentlt had his first cystoscopy in the office for the 6 month follow-up.  Urine was positive as was FISH test; Cat scan wa negative.  Dr wants to wait til August fro a hospital cystoscopy with probable  TURBT.  I am wondering why wait?  Is it risky to wait so long?  Doctor feels it isn't.

Management of a bladder cancer depends on whether the tumour invades muscle and whether there is spread to the regional lymph nodes and beyond.
In your case as there might be invasion and metastsis you already had surgery, radiation and chemotherapy.

In some cases there is recurrence and only way to delay recurrence is atleast 4 cycles of combination chemptherapy.
Adjuvant therapy with cisplatin, methotrexate and vinblastine appears to reduce the risk of recurrence by 15%.

It is always good to cross check with your clinician but there is no specific period when it reoccurs. Going for diagnosis periodically is the only way out!
