CA19.9

Hi all, in the past i have had gastro issues with no aignificant findings.
Did a CT scan 1 year ago due to a pain near my stomach/ pelvic region. Omly thing seen was a very small normal functional cyst (clear fluid) which the gynae said is of no concern.

Second time after 10months, did a MRI and ultrasound in my pelvic region due to unknown pain again ajd they said i have hernia which is very mild.

MRI was clear and only ultrasound showed hernia.

Did a normal routine blood check which included a CA199 and CEA. Had my period thenand was told to opt for CA199 instead of cancer markers for breast cancer/ ovarian cancer.

All came out normal except for CA199 which was 42.

Consulted a specialist and they did a second test. CA199 went down to 34.

They asked me to redo it in 2 months and 3rd test went up to 52.

Not sure what do i do now given the numbers are not consistent and not in the normal range..
