Could this be throat cancer?

Hi, I am new to this forum. I have been so worried about the possibility of having throat or tongue cancer. I have these two pinkish lumps on left side of my throat in the area where my tonsils used to be. I had a tonsillectomy 11 years ago. I am now 23 years old. I did smoke off and on as a teenager and drank moderately. My throat has been red for a while now but I also have allergies/ post nasal drip and acid reflux. I have been getting a sharp pain in left ear that comes and goes. I also have gotten quite a few sore throats and sinus infections and upper respiratory infections over the last 2 years. I saw a primary care doctor about the lumps and he seemed to think it is tonsil/scar tissue that was leftover from my tonsillectomy or tissue growing back. I have researched so much on that but I haven't been able to find anything that looks similar to the lumps I have. I am just posting this because I am hoping that maybe someone has had similar issues and maybe someone else has these lumps where tonsils used to be?! Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
