The cancer has gone through the inside lining of the bladder.  Told once that happens can travel rapidly through the bladder wall.  Only solution is bladder removal ASAP!

Hello and welcome to the forum.  I am so very sorry if you are telling us you are diagnosed with bladder cancer and it has progressed.  When were you diagnosed?  This was a couple of weeks ago that you posted so am wondering if there are any updates to the situation.  https://www.cancer.org/cancer/bladder-cancer/detection-diagnosis-staging/staging.html  This article that you can copy and past goes through staging of bladder cancer. The first thing they look at is how far the cancer goes, if the primary tumor in the bladder has gone through the wall and is affecting nearby tissue. Do you know what stage they have determined for you?   It is true that if the cancer has pushed outside of the bladder, they do remove the bladder as part of treatment as well as chemotherapy is given.  That is pretty scary to hear, I'm sure.  But saving your life is most important.  Here is information about living after removal of the bladder. https://www.webmd.com/cancer/bladder-cancer/life-after-bladder-removal  Please give us any updates.  Best of health to you.
