Is this lump a sign of cancer?
Hi, I am a 16 year old male, and I have a lump on the left side of my body near my ribs. It came up a little more than week ago. I originally thought it was a cyst and that it would pop soon enough. But I don't think that is the case as it hasn't popped at all. The lump is a purplish color, like a bruise. It's fixed in place and its causes pain whenever I try to move it. It's about 1 and a half inch wide and 1 inch tall. Any ideas on what it could be?
