Lenght of Starving Out Cancer

Good day

My question is how long it takes to starve out small lymphoma cancer, witch is merely 5 to 15 g in mass in area of armpits. By starving out i mean absolute absence of food intake except water, since cancer is bio organism even if its parasitical nature and it of course depends on nutrient, that means due to prolonged starvation cancer will eventually die. But how long it takes approximate to starve out pretty small cancer ? does two weeks of starvation will be enough ?

Hello and welcome to the forum. We hope you are working with a doctor. There may be a more effective (and more comfortable) way to treat your lymphoma cancer. Lipoma is something that may be helped by intermittent fasting but am not sure if you are confusing these two things, lipoma and lymphoma.  I'm trying to understand your diagnosis.  An oncologist should be recommending  your care.  The usual treatment for lymphoma involves surgery, chemo, radiation, immunotherapy, etc.  https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/lymphoma/diagnosis-treatment/drc-20352642  There is literature related to starvation and lipomas.  However, that is something controversial and would recommend you discuss with your doctor if this is what you are talking about. Lipomas are usually harmless fatty tumors under the skin.  Intermittent fasting is something some people do in hopes of ridding themselves of them. There is conflicting information regarding the success of this.
