thanks much for your information and time. As he said, now he has to take the biopsy investigation. the doctor conducted the blood investigation and MRI. The result of the MRI and investigation is the i mentioned before.
The size of the some lymph nodes is too big sizing 4.0x8.2x11.0 cm
The doctor' writing:your CT scan indicates an area of swelling in your intestine along with severe enlargement of your lymph nodes. This could be several things, but is worrisome for a type of cancer called lymphoma. the only way to find out exactly what this is would be by performing a biopsy.
Best regards,
Have the docotrs determined if it's primary or secondary lymphoma? Also, have they "staged" it? Both are determining factors as to treatment and prognosis.
Here is some information I found on this from virtual cancer center:
Progression
The bowel cancer may grow locally into the lumen of the bowel causing obstruction, or sometimes causing perforation. Sometimes the bowel cancer spread along the mucosal surface to involve a wide area - causing malabsorption.
Lymph node spread to mesenteric nodes, and subsequently other lymph node groups and systemic spread may occur similar to other lymphomas.
Probable Outcomes
Bowel cancer prognosis depends on the stage at which the disease is diagnosed and treated. With tumours treated adequately with a curative intent the 5 year survival is as much as 80%. Even with more advanced disease there may be favourable prognosis if the tumour responds to chemotherapy.
I hope this was helpful. If you have more information, I may be able to provide more help.
