Can a lumbar MRI show symptoms of cancer anywhere else besides the spine?

I have had several car accidents and injury to my neck and back however this pain in my neck feels different. My pain doctor ordered a no contact MRI of the lumbar and my concern is that is this is cancer, will this test show it? I've had breast cancer twice so my concern is legitimate.

Field of view in MRI lumbar spine is coned down to the lumbar spine but may include the structures immediately adjacent to this (e.g., lower thoracic spine, sacrum, portions of adrenal gland and kidneys, etc.).
