Melanoma on Teen?!

I am a 16 years old male. 3 years ago I went on a cruise for 5 days and did not wear sunscreen. When I returned I was sunburned. As time passed by, a brown spot covered my left shoulder with about four same-colored tiny spots surrounding it. It is a little darker than my skin tone.  It's a light brown color (all one color) with uneven edges. No pain or itching. I've seen three doctors and they said it was probably sun-caused discoloration. Maybe liver spots? They didn't show any sort of worry. It has not changed color or shape, but it has not disappeared. Is it melanoma? Please HELP. IM SO STRESSED OUT!

You have been to the doctor and they say its ok and nothing to worry about you should listen to what they say. I hvae it also on both my arms sometimes, ehh, when i dont have used my sunscreen.... Looks like brown spots little darker then my skintone. Not very nice when i get it, but I dont worry about them. When my skincolour is normal after summertime, it does not show, but as soon I start beeing too much in the sun ( whitout sunscreen )...yep, they come again :-)  And the doctors would know immidiatly if they saw any little thing to worry about and would take affear. Melanoma or skincancer dont happen this way. Or so I should have had it ages ago , and I dont ;-)) Try to relax, all it is is that it dont look nice, but that we can deal with dont you think ? ;-)

Thank You so much for the information. the spot I have covers all of my shoulder, though. Is that still ok? I mean, I've seen the small brown spots on people, but mine covers my entire upper shoulder and that's why it scares me because of the size. Should I worry? THANK YOU SO MUCH

Hi ! I often get one of those in summertime when i have not used sunscreen. I get it right under my eye. It will disappear again, and come back if you dont use sunscreen next time you are in the sun. Dont worry at all about that !!
