Tongue Cancer

Hi, can anyone please advise what the early signs of Tongue cancer is?

I have a small round mark on the side of my tongue that has been there for about a week. Also had a dull feeling in my through when swallowing for about 2 months just on the right hand side of the adams apple.

I am a 26 year old male who does not smoke and drinks rarely.

Are there any other symptoms of tongue cancer?

thanks

John

Hi John
I went in for a dental cleaning and xrays ( had not been there in a while) I struggle with Fibro, RA & OA, so wanting to go anywhere while at anytime any part of my body could cramp up or spasm was not something I relished being away from home during a flare, but I went,
the girl cleaning my teeth was pulling on my tongue looking at both sides ( I never had a cleaner do this) good news 0 cavities, bad news he gave me a mirror, again my tongue got pulled to the side and way in the back left hand side there it was a small red cauliflower shaped lump with a red streak, I had been having sinus issues and had done 2 rounds of z-pak because my upper teeth on the right side when bothering me, he took an xray and said it looked like a sinus  infection. Back to the  cauliflower lump -So he said don't panic but it looks like tongue cancer, I wait to see if it may be a blood clot that should go away in 2 weeks, if not he sends me to an oral doctor, I have had several issues that point to Not a blood clot, burning throat, not hungry, lymph nodes hurt, sinuses hurt 1 side clogged. After my next visit I will update the post.
