Tonsils and ear pain

I am having pain in tonsils and ear. Also little hoarseness in voice. Frequent urge to clear throat. My ENT doctor has given antibiotics twice but 50% improvement. No fever or weight loss. I have smoked weed for 2 yrs regularly.
Can this be throat cancer?

How long it has been since you're having this problem? Have your doctor suggested you for CT scan, neck ultrasound, PER scan, MRI or chest x-ray? Other than ear pain or tonsils do you feel any lump in the throat or neck?
Well, there are possible risks of getting diagnosed with throat cancer if you smoke or use other tobacco products. So, I'll suggest you quit smoking asap and get it checked by the specialist.
I hope this will be nothing serious but still, it is better to take precautions before it gets worse.
Best of luck!

Hello and welcome to the forum.  I'm glad you've seen your doctor and that they've been treating you.  If they suspected throat cancer, I am sure they'd do the necessary tests to check on that diagnosis.  Here is a link to information on throat cancer including the symptoms that people typically suffer.  https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/throat-cancer/symptoms-causes/syc-20366462  Those symptoms are A cough, Changes in your voice, such as hoarseness or not speaking clearly, Difficulty swallowing, Ear pain, A lump or sore that doesn't heal, A sore throat,  and Weight loss.

You obviously mention two of those, hoarseness and pain in tonsils and ears. I think it is a good sign that you improved to some extent with antibiotics. I would suggest discontinuing giving up smoking anything as that will certainly aggravate the situation.  It is always recommended to not smoke for prevention and certainly if you have a diagnosis.

Have you mentioned your concerns regarding throat cancer to your doctor?
