Worried about a spot on my toe that appeared after a vacation

I'm worried about a spot that I've had on the side of my big toe.
It's been there unchanged for the past 4 weeks and I just want to know if it's something I should be concerned about. It developed during a trip to Spain and as I come from a Nordic country my skin is very light and very susceptible to the sun. I was walking on the rocks barefoot and I assumed at first that it was a blood blister, but now I'm not so sure as I don't know how long these will last.
I'm planning on a doctor's appointment in the near future, but I would just like a visual estimate to determine how urgent I need to set up an appointment.
Here's a picture taken with my phone:

Thank you very much for your time and help.

Kind regards.
