bruises on my arms and legs :(

i keep getting this horrible bruises mostly on my legs and arms . what could be wrong with me ?

I have Fibromyalgia. Is has been much less of an issue in recent years, but I do still get "unexplained" bruises from time to time. I used to have them on a regular basis, like on my upper arms after washing my hair. But now I have noticed that they seam to appear during times of prelonged stress and anxiety. If that helps...

How are you? Are there other symptoms present? A bruise is often caused by a traumatic injury of the soft tissues leading to breakage of the local capillaries and leakage of red blood cells. Easy bruising can occur when the blood vessels are weakened by diseases like scurvy, aging,  certain medications such as aspirin, prednisone and prednisolone, or due to  absent or deficient blood-clotting elements. If it persists, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor and have  diagnostic tests done for proper evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted.
