I was diagnosed with HPV56 with HPV DNA test and have got a LEEP procedure. Nevertheles, the HPV56 was still persisted after that procedure. Is that normal? My doctor said to wait another 3 months and gave Isoprinosene for the time being.
With this condition, can I also transmit this virus to my partner?

I work in a GYN clinic at a hospital. High risk HPV becomes an issue if you have abnormal Pap smears. The leep aka colposcopy procedure is always done to rule out significant cancer.
