suspicious opacities

We just got our medical exams results but my husband's xray result says that a suspicious opacities are seen in right upper lobes.. what does that mean? Does that mean that he can't continue working?

Ask the doctor who noted the opacity means, what is the next step..   If suspicious I'd expect more tests are needed.  Perhaps something like a CT scan.

In the absence of any statement otherwise by your doctor it seems to me return to work is expected. .
