Arrythmia or palpitation, can I have?

Few minuts ago I felt one little irregularity of the hearth rythm and a small sensation of faint in about 1 or 2 seconds.
Can this be a palpitation?
My mother have hearth palpitations and i'm worry if I have it too.
Is this genetically-transmissible?

it might be mitral valve prolapse. I understand cause i am feeling the same as you. But of course it might not be MVP. It is best to do an echo or a 24hour holter.

Hi LCSL,

I am not a doctor, but as Dr. Kirsey suggested, you should make an appointment with your family doctor to discuss your symptoms.

Palpitations are the sensation of feeling one's own heartbeat.  There are a number of different rhythm disturbances, ranging from benign to more serious. An evaluation by your doctor will help determine whether you need to be concerned.  Take care.

Yes it is. Report it to your doctor and seek immediate help if you experience that feeling again
