Alternatives to surgery to remove Uriine bladder crystals

our 11 yr old female has had problems twice in the past over urinary crystals.  Both times in the past she over came it.  Now she is experiencing it again.  But the same treatment is not working.  Veterinarian says wait 30 days for he treatment to finish and surgery will b next.  Her ph was 6.5.  She is now on a special diet for the crystals.  Is there anythng else we can do than surgery.  She sleeps all day and has an elevated temp.

I was wrong after doing some reading....a neutral PH is 7 anything below is acidic...but Dr. Becker states in her article a good healthy range is 6-6.5..
she also talks of a procedure with a laser called LETHOTRIPSY..that breaks the stones into smaller pieces so they can pass normally and avoid the need for surgery..
hope this helps

what treatments are you using????

I do HOPE you have her on canned foods and never dry for crystals...what type? struvite or oxolate? b/c a ph of 6.5 is very normal...its neutral and just where you want the ph to be so I'm confused...therefore can't be a struvite issue...I will send you some info and wait your reply...
