Cat Vomit

My cat is 6 months old, male, and he has been vomiting since a few days, I want to know what's wrong with him, he is a long haired cat, not any special breed or anything. He eats and then pukes it all out. It happened 3-4 times by now. :( I am really worried, please help me as soon as possible. :(

I'm glad that you decided to take him to the vet.  Throwing up for a few days and not being able to keep anything down is life-threatening.  A cat that hasn't eaten in a few days can develop a condition called feline hepatic lipidosis.  That is fatty liver disease that can be very tricky to treat.

Let us know how things go at the vet.  It sounds to me like an obstruction.

hi Heart

Jade is absolutely right. I have just gone thru this with my cat and she had to have exploratory surgery. They thought she might have had an obstruction.

I am not suggesting this for your cat, but he does need IV fluid if he has been throwing up and you need to find out what it is that is making him sick. It could be a mild case of Pancreatitis. Whatever it is you will not know until you get to a vet.
Please do this ASAP!

Let us know how things go, K?

Sincerely,
CML

Hello and welcome....I'm sorry I somehow missed your post.  How's your kitty doing today?  If he is still vomiting, he needs to see a vet ASAP.
