Do yours get the fall goofies?

My cats, particularly Butters, has had to goofies for a good couple weeks now.  He wants to play "monster" which entails peeking around the corner then chasing him w/arms up in monster pose & ducking around the corner; repeat. He gallops around "giggling" to himself and jumps up the walls @ nothing which normally only Bob does. Bob has amped up playing ninja cat, and even Spirit has joined the festivites running and playing more than usual-she's normally very dignified. I suppose the cooler weather is making them jazzed up; any others enjoying this burst of joy?

Catalina IS beautiful!! Bob and Butters are chasing eachother around the house and having a blast this chilly morning and making that chortling noise.

Glad you guys like her name!  My sister gave me names to pick from (it was her idea to get a cat), and this is the one I chose.  I think cooler weather should encourage activity in a cat, not so hot with their fur.   Catalina, I noticed, settled near the little heater earlier today, and now that it's cooler, prefers not to lay around on the wood floor up here when settled.

With the time change, my mom let Catalina up this morning while I was still in bed.  When I came out from my bedroom, Catalina started bounding toward me, reminding of runs I've seen of large wild cats on tv.  It was really neat!

Aw, your babies are so cute and fun.  Just last night I was out back and suddenly Jade comes tearing from the front of the yard to the back and up the apricot tree.  Or she'll race from the back of the yard as fast as she can to the back door.  To look at her, you'd never dream how fast she is!  She's fairly sedate in the house, but sometimes will go at top speed to jump on the table under the front window which unfortunately, is filled with picture frames that get knocked over...but that's okay.

Not a lot of antics here since she's outside half the time.  She sure is in the mood to play with her string and scratching post now that she's in at night with the cooler weather but I can't get on the floor or bend and the person she wants to play with is rarely here :(
