Gastritis

My 4 year old cat has on and off Gastritis and nobody seems to know why.
He eats his dry food as usually and than suddenly he will stop, is vomiting and declines any food,
Stool is normal, just refuses to eat or drink.
He ends up being at the Vet who will put him on antibiotic via Infusion , 1 months will pass ok and than it starts all over again.
Any body has the same problem ?
BTW, he is an indoor cat.

My cat had a very similar problem. We switched her to Hill's Science Diet. We have her on the perfect weight but they have a digestive care one as well. We have not had a single problem since we switched her to that brand.

Maybe is just a food problem.Have you ever tried change the brand of cat food ?
There are some for animals with delicate stomachs or so...
Or try wet for food?
If its was not done yet,an USound maybe can be useful.Good luck!

I would certainly try taking him off dry food, some ingredient/preservative or grain isn't agreeing with him. Try grain free canned
