Hi Folks

I'm having a computer issue over here (LCD damage - maybe)

So later tonight I'm going to see if I can resolve it. If I can't there's a chance I'll be off-line for a day or two...or a week or two. It depends on how circumstances play out.

So I hope y'all will stick around and offer your help to anyone who needs it and I'll do my best to get back here as soon as I can.

Wish me luck -

Savas

I haven't tried the t.v. tuner yet. But it should work. Right now I'm watching netflicks mostly, which accounts for my references to old t.v. shows (they don't make 'em like they used to!).

The laptop itself is in a bad way, I'm working with peripherals totally. The monitor was the cheapest one I could get, which is still better than a two and a half year old lap top screen.:)

It's funny, I never bothered to get cable (partly the cost) and have very little reception. I find I enjoyed not having it around after a while. But this...this is almost addicting.

We're halfway through both the old Xena and Hercules series right now, as well as quantum leap. I'm gonig to start on Babylon 5 next, when my will weakens and I need a new fix! :)

Savas has been on a giant spending binge!  Hooray for Savas!  (W would thank you for helping us in time of war by spending money.)

So is it a new screen, or a new computer?  And can you REALLY watch TV on it without going crazy?

I have a friend who has no tv, watches everything on the computer.  But he lives in NY, so he's nuts anyway.

Oh, oops.  Sorry about that.  :-P
