Is feeding small amounts of deli meat to a cat dangerous?
I bought some corned beef and gave a small amount to my 19 year old cat. He bolted it down and since then has been acting sick - sitting hunched up and with neck extended. This morning I saw bright red watery vomit on the kitchen floor. I wanted to know if this was a coincidence or might be due to his eating deli meat. BTW - the vet said he was beginning to show signs of kidney failure on his last visit.
It doesn't sound like the meat, but he does sound sick. When did you last take him to the vet?
