Kitten loose mushy stools

I have a kitten which is going to be 2 months old. His poops have been mushy since we get him last week. Since two days ago, he had been pooping very frequently and each time the poop was not a lot but his fur tend to get the poop on it so we have to clean butt with water basically everytime he poop. I have been free feeding him with eagle pro dry food kitten and adult forumla with fussie cat wet food 3 times a day. I don't know what brand he had been eating before so no transition of food made. Any ideas how to ease on the situation?

Hi Mic,

Your kitty needs to be checked out by a Vet. It is always good to have a new one taken for a Baseline cbc and health check.
A kitten who has been having diahreaha will be very dehydrated and needs to have IV fluids. Kittens often have worms and need to be dewormed --this can cause diahreaha, but there are other causes. Either way have him to the vets for a "new kit check-up" then you can go from there.
Keep us posted if you will.
