Missy T, lovin' ev'ry minute

Hey all;

Miss Teia Honey spent a half hour in my lap after  got home from work today.

This is the same fearful, semi-feral feline that bit and scratched Anita and me, attacked the other cats, then hid when we took her in 4 1/2 years ago.

Teia is proof that any animal can be reached, no matter how old and unsocial from a lack of human contact.  Patient, Persistent, Kindness...gentle reaction to her aggressive action...just sitting quietly in the same room not trying to initiate contact...

Lap time is getting to be a nightly thing with Missy T.

She is fair though, one night my lap, next night Anita's.

Tonight, Missy T spent almost 2 hours on Anita's lap. She is getting to be a real love bug.

Right now, Missy T is indulging her shoe fetish, playing with the laces on my work shoes.

She just sweeter and more affectionate as time goes by, all because you and Anita gave her the chance she needed.

I can't believe the difference a location change made in her.  She was coming right along then bam.  :)

Just back to the computer after tonight's lap time with Teia.

It's starting to get to be a regular evening occurrence with her seeking either Anita's or my lap.

The look on her face is so sweet.  Like she is a sailor home from the sea.  She probably can't quite believe it herself.

Looking at the picture again, she has her eyes closed, what a sign of contentment and trust. :)
