Oh Opus, you really should do it if you can! Fostering an animal in need is very rewarding!! I have 4 kittys & every one of them are rescues of some sort that I got at different times. Cats usually get along, it might be a slow process but eventually they will tolerate each other. lol You never know, this foster baby could be the next love of your life! :-) Good luck & keep us posted!
How awesome is that that the girls are having a mutual understanding, at least for a moment.
Opus, I have never owned more than one cat at a time as an adult, so I wouldn't really be the best person to ask on introducing new kitties to a home that already has established kitties. As a kid, whenever my parents got a new cat, the cats either got along or the new cat had to be rehomed, so even they're not the best people to ask.
your kitty stories and the leaps they've all made inspire me.....
there is this kitty dropped off at the spca this weekend, they are asking for donations to help with Vet costs to have a leg amputated....than needing a foster home while she recoups...I am so wanting to do this, just so worried on how my boys will react.
I would need to keep them segregated and looking at ideas on how to do so...anyone ever used a large patio door screen over a bedroom door opening? ths way they could all see one another without being in contact...the little girl would need a room of her own without any disturbance while recouping....I am soooo tempted.
