My cat urinates too often

My 6-year-old female cat has suddenly started urinating on the beds, in our laps and on the bathroom floor.  She is also licking her bottom a lot.  The urine is clear and not sticky.  This cat was the runt of her litter and is much smaller than the others.  She is thin and seems to have a lot of gas.  Her doctor has not anything wrong with her in the past.  We have not had any changes in our household in over a year.

Your kitty needs to see a vet asap.  The frequent urination and weight loss is either kidney disease or diabetes.  Both of these conditions need immediate attention.
