Older happy Kitty moment...

Hey all;

In my usual quest to bring a smile in a forum where all too often we are offering helpful advice to those with sick or injured kitties...

This was the breakthrough day when the Grey Sisters accepted April Dancer into the family.  This would have been towards the end of June 1986.

We still have the kitty bush in which Dancer is sleeping, the weight bench upon which Victoria is sleeping has long since been replaced by a heftier one.

My niece, who works with Asperger's youth, says she's noticed that I have this sharp memory for dates, though she thinks it's more mild OCD.

However, I've noticed that the memory is related to people and other beings who are important to me.

For instance, yesterday was the 34th anniversary of the 1st time I spoke with the young lady who eventually became my wife.  It was just after lunch, in the college store...

The above picture was taken when we lived in our 2nd house on base in the 4 years we were at Eglin in Florida; 705 Chinquapin Rd.  My OCD covers addresses, too. =)

Thanks for this, Pip.  We did need a lighthearted moment here.  You can sure tell what a tiny little girl April Dancer was next to Q. Victoria.  What a precious moment you captured.  I just went back and refreshed my memory of April Dancer through your photos.  I love how you give a little history lesson on all your kitties right down to the dates.
