Thank you everyone. The animal hospital called today and they had his ashes ready already! He's back home with me. Oddly, I feel at peace. Working on picking out a urn for him. I think he's comforting me from above. I know he's free and Happy and with all the MH babies and Zachary. He will be waiting for me. I still have 3 more kitties here that need me and two morkie monsters. Thank you my friends.
So very sad to read this.
Sounds like the decline our sweet Cerridwen Blythe of fond memory had, she was okay when I left for work in the morning, and then when I got home, she was as you describe Beener.
I like to think that her eyesight cleared up right at the end and that she gave me a look of thanks for ending her pain... :(
It's never good, take care.
Hello my friend. I'm so sorry to read this. I read your post from Nov 2016. Beener had cancer, so I think that's what the smell was.
You had your dear kitty for 23yrs...he was with you half your life; I can understand how hard it must of been to let him go.
Please don't go on thinking you waited too long. You did what you thought was right, and that is never wrong.
Beener was a MH kitty...which holds the highest honor. Not only does he join Zachery, but all the MH kitties at the Rainbow Bridge who have passed before him. He was greeted with open paws. He misses you already and while he loves and remembers you, he doesn't remember his life on Earth or any suffering he may of felt. That is over; he is young and healthy now and waiting for the day he will see you again.
My heart goes out to you honey. RIP sweet Beener. You will be missed.
Love and hugs to you Kitty. xo
My condolences for loosing dear little Beaner and prayers sent up for Bosco....tried to message you sooner but for unknown reasons couldn't post. RIP little MH kitty, you were a special boy to us all ;(
Asking for some prayers for my bosco monster. Some of you may recall I got bosco who is a morkie shortly after I lost Zachary. Found out today he has a corneal abrasion and may lose his right eye. Its pretty bad. He's also in pain. I know this isn't the dog forum. Just asking for prayers. Surprisingly, I am doing well with the loss of my Beener. I think he has a lot to do with that. ;)
rip, dear Beener.Count on us,dear
My heart breaks for you. I know I will be doing the same for my 22 YO Tabby. He still has a good appetite, and gets up and down from the bed to eat and use his box, but he has also lost much weight.
Yes, perhaps you waited a bit long ..... who knows? I have heard that the final decline can come very rapidly, but no doubt he had a wonderful life, and was loved on until the end. Be at peace knowing he is at peace, and love on the little ones.
