Amen and rest in peace little ones. You may be gone but never forgotten.
Very sweet and thoughtful, Opus!!
Bless these special little fur babies and they WILL be reunited once again w/ their owners. I really believe this! =)
Thank you, Opus for making this thoughtful post!
R.I.P. sweet ones. I believe too, Z, that when our time comes, our animals before us will be lined up with our loved ones to welcome us home.
I'm pretty sure DiamondFox lost a third baby, but the name is escaping me. Sorry, DF.
Thank you, Opus, for remembering our sweet pets. They are truly gifts from Heaven that God loans us for a little time to teach us unconditional love, forgiveness, respect and devotion. They are very special to us and I know they are to God as well.
Be at peace, dear sweet ones. May we be blessed to see you again one day.

I just wanted to add my Masena. She was 14 when she passes away last spring. I miss her and her littermate, TJ, misses her still....we always will.
Oh Linda, I am so sorry how could I have missed our Masena. darn, I was going by recent memory and I should never do that, my memory is so bad....gosh please accept my deepest apology's Linda and beautiful Masena. :-(
Thanks Opus. As we enter 2011, we remember our kitties and Toby :) who have moved on to the spiritworld.
Last night Bruno was in my heart as I fell asleep, remembering how he picked his (my) spot on the bed to spend his last weeks.
The crawling carefully into bed on the other side so I wouldn't wake him...you all know how that goes....
Wow, I just didn't realize how many babies we lost last year until a list is written. Too many. Of course, Linda, your Masena. RIP beautiful girl.
I Do know what you mean, SG. Of course Bruno will be right near the surface of your heart for a very long time.
I am in tears again for all your losses. 2010 was a tough year here on the Cat Forum. I am sad for the owners but happy for the little ones who are now at the Rainbow Bridge, happy, healthy and whole.
We lost our Annie on Labor Day 2010. We horribly miss her. She was 9 years old and has two ten year old brothers. Something happened and her liver shut down:( We will never forget our AnnieBananie!!!!
Hi and welcome to the cat forum. I'm very glad you found us. So sorry you lost your Annie. Our pets are members of the family and it's very hard when we lose them. Have you heard of the Rainbow Bridge? I will post it for you in case you haven't. It's a poem that many of us find comfort in and I hope it will for you, too.
Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
