Spirit's recovering

Spirit's on the mend and this am Bob finally recongnised her as his "sister" and there was no hissing; he headbutted her and tailwrapped her and all was right with the world. Thanks for all the help and support! It turned out she did have bacteria in her bladder so she's on antibiotic and -spasmodic regimen. I have to figure out what the culprit was-I'm wondering if it might have been the "treats" I was giving her.

They get both-a dish of crunchies is available at all times (I'm gradually switching them over to a 'urinary health" formula) and @ lunch time they get 1 can of Elegant Medleys and 1 can of Appetizers divided amongst the 3 of them. You know me so well-Spirit now has her own classic style coke glass with a fresh gallon of bottled spring water next to it at all times. She also has her own glass on my nightstand next to Butters' special round bowl. Bob will drink out whatever he's next to-as long as it's freshy-fresh which I always announce. Spirit's back on the right track now, after another vet visit; lungs clear, temp perfect, and she's much moree interactive tonight.

It *could* be the treats, but also, as much as we talk, I'm not sure if we've discussed cat food?  It is more unusual for a female to have this trouble than a male which means Spirit REALLY needs more water intake.  Place additional water CUPS (lol) around your house since a cat is more inclined to drink if it's convenient.  Are you feeding the kids wet or dry food?
