I know that "Hrruff" sound well. My Spike, when he was just a baby baby, was doing that to us so when it was time for a checkup I asked my Vet about it & he imitated it perfectly! Apparently it's akin to our Hrrumph!" He still does it. I've never heard his sister Sookie do it though. Her hissing has increased & ever since we moved here she has become more vocal than ever. Not a meow but a squeak. When she's angry with us the squeak increases in volume until it sounds like a kitty bark. As I've become less able to do things she barks and he hrruffs at my wife who can't win for losin' on the kitty front. As I said, gotta love 'em!

Hey Pip.
I love how the Buffster is doing his own kitty thing as though he isn't even aware that Miss Teia's on the couch too. Mr. Nonchalant. Then there's little Miss keeping a lookout but stays for 15 minutes. Gotta love 'em!
Blessings,
Melinda
