I have a 1 year old male Siamese-Manx, has been neutered for about 6 months. For the past 6-7 hours he has been constantly pacing and walking circles around the house. Occasionally he will stop and urgently sniff the floor around him but doesn't pee. He keeps following pretty much the same path, walking around objects on the floor that are not in direct line of him, then across the room and around the coffee table, then across the other way to the hallway walking along the right side against the wall then back along the left side, etc. This is VERY unusual for him as he is an extremely laid back, no worries cat who plays and cuddles every chance he gets. Now, I should mention that we've also got 2 other cats, his brother and "sister in-law" who are expecting kittens literally any minute. He was very attentive and protective of the last litter and their momma so I'm wondering if he's possibly anticipating the babies coming, playing the "anxious, expectant father" or should I be worried it's something neurological or more serious that I should bring him in? I have had cats for 30+ years and have never seen this behavior and it started suddenly.
