cat shoulder dislocation when stretching

My cat is about 3 now and when she was younger her shoulder would dislocate (leg out sideways) when she would stretch forward too far.  She was always able to get it back herself and has figured out she shouldn't do that anymore.  She favors that leg now jumping down primarily on the other foot first and has developed a slight limp on that leg.  I don't have much money but my main question is this, does she need to have the joint repaired or is this something she can live with?

I felt around her shoulder joint and she didn't appear to show any pain when I pressed about the area.  I'll have the vet look at it when I can afford to take her there.  Thank you.

......mostly it depends on if the cat is in pain or not...if there is pain than you can't just leave as is...
I would really get an opinion from a Vet at a clinic, its pretty hard for anyone to assess her without seeing her.....
the joint would of course be very prone to arthritis..if not already than certainly as she ages.
good luck, keep us updated♥
