high levels on his liver test 757

My cat is 11 years old male brought him to the vet in Feb. 2013 for yearly check up lost 2 lbs. in a year. Brought him in this week for test and has lost a 1/2 of pound. He stills eats and drinks water bout not a lot the Vet. told me that he has liver cancer. What can I do?

Your welcome. All of my cats are indoor cats as well. i agree with zodiacqueen. i am soo sorry to hear about your cat. Praying for the both of you

Hi, so very sorry to hear that your cat has liver cancer.  I'd keep the kitty as comfortable as possible-ask the vet about pain meds, and possibly get him put on steroids(this may help the inflammation and shrink the cancer a bit).  Also, you may want to keep some chicken broth on hand and some strained meat baby food for the days he doesn't feel like eating.

Just amke your cat feel as comfortable as possible. Still do all that you do to take care of him. Also ask the Vet if there is any diagnosis for it. Praying that all is well with your cat and you!
