Chessie goes Outside! =)

Chesapeake Bandylegs the Hunter, affectionately called Chessie or Bear, went Outside today for the first time since we moved.  She's taken the change harder than the other two and spends most of her time upstairs in the bed/sitting room.  She's been coming down a bit more to visit, quite a bit today.

This was especially nice since we kenneled them over the weekend as Anita and I went back to northern Illinois to attend an event with friends.  Chessie is the kennel's favorite grumpy cat, as in she really IS grumpy.

Had to grab her up and bring her in though, was about to head into the heavily wooded gully just off the driveway.

We did the Home Inspection yesterday morning, just a few cosmetic things...

Now, we are getting the final documents the lender wants.

Teia, Hildie and Chessie will have a safe, fenced in back yard of their own by the beginning of October.

I hope you get the house.  I would think the next change will be easier for Chessie, as Jade suggested, too.

It sounds like they will be really safe when going outside to explore in the new house, should you get the new house.

We made an offer on a house, the owner came back with a counter offer, we replied, now awaiting the outcome.

If we are successful, the girls will have a large, fenced in back yard.  I'll just have to double check that the gates and bottom edge are kitty tight.  Don;t have to worry about them going over, all are jump challenged. :)

The way Chessie has acted, you would think she would be the most timid when it came to outside exploration.  Ha, surprise, eh?  Hopefully this whole experience will let her know change is not to be feared, and she'll adjust quicker to this next move.

Chessie has wandered further away from the house than either Teia or Hildie.  The verge where I took the photo is a good 40 feet from the side door to the sunroom.

Teia gotten about 20 feet from this door, but was only a foot or two away from the house  itself (the previous picture of T in the bushes).
