rough playing kitty after spaying

My new kitten was spayed on Tuesday night when I brought her home on Thursday, she hissed at the other kitties but by that night I found her rough housing and jumping and playing with one of my others, I've had male cats for the last 17 years and was surprised she felt that good .  I don't know why my head was at but I've let her out and they play tackle several times a day when Duh it dawned on me that just because she feels like playing rough I shouldn';t let her  she is eating fine, going to the bathroom etc, her spay wound is alittle swollen and kinda hard underneath but not red or hot or has any pus or anything is being proactive to late now?  Is the damage done?  It is ofcourse last Friday and probably can't get her seen till Monday, thoughts on this  ?  Other than I'm  stupid???  Thanks   very concerned furry momma

She definitely wasn't trying to defend herself cuz she was the one stalking and jumping and playing with Hubbell, she's just very active, I've kept them apart now but poor Hubbell goes and watches her and they try to play through the glass on the door.  We lost 3 of our 17 1/2 year olds all within the last 6 months so we went from a home with 5 kitties in it to 2 so both us and the other kitties were walking around feeling the lose, that's why I was able to get a kitten, although my hubby is trying to talk me out of the other one that I'm trying to adopt when she'd old enuf  she's with a foster family right now and it was an adopt one get one , and ofcourse I wanted the one not available.  I'll keep you posted on my baby and her recovery thanks for the input.

I've always been surprised how little being fixed seems to affect my cats as well-she may be feeling vulnerable and what you're seeing as rough housing may be her trying to protect herself. Can you keep her a little isolated for a few days? Since there's no sign of inf sounds like she's healing properly.  Also good to know which I didn't till one of mine was quite ill: cats recognise eachother by smell, not sight-your kit smells like the vet temporarily so the others are seeing her as a new cat in the midst and want to investigate. Be patient and watchful to make sure no one gets rough-everything should be back to normal before you know it!! And congrats on your new baby-I've been asking for a new kit and my fiance keeps saying no.  :(  And you're NOT stupid, you're and observant, caring mama doing everything right!! Let us know how everything goes!!
