We all have to keep in mind that other related conditions and issues could be to blame post op....such as the reason I have pain with the precipitation and more so when it is cold is my EDS dx more so then the Chiari. EDS can cause HA's as well....so it is important that we know all related issues we have going on.
My daughter gets terrible headaches when it rains. She is 3 yrs post op and still dealing with it.
Interesting to read this! I've never seen snow! It snowed one year, but it mixed with the mud immediately so it just looked like ice. I live in south Louisiana haha. Makes me rethink my future wishes to travel to see it!
Yep...any kind of precip does it for me. I'm anxious to see how I react post op when the snow comes...that always gave me more intense HAs.
Sorry to say yes Dana, but precipitation in ne form will cause pain...and the colder it is for me with EDS the more pain I have...so rain in the summer is not as painful as snow in the winter as the cold just makes all my joints hurt.
Dana, I'm the SAME way, this past week has bewn bad! I feel like I have a sinus headache constantly have pressure in my face and ears and am extremely fatigued. Its been soo rainy here where u and I live! Wish It would stop!
I feel ya! Supposed to reason another day or so!

Mazie :)
Ya, ice is my new best friend. I used to like the heat, but sunce my surgery I've been using a lot more ice. Hope you are well today? Another rainy day here so u know how I'm feelin. And on top of it I have pt this afternoon, ugh
hmm I don't know I would guess so because of the pressure changes in the atmosphere...storms hurt me too...we will find out.
I was thinking about your swelling have you tried ice packs on incision sight? I did that a lot post op and I wonder if it would help.
