Can anyone give me a name of a chiari doctor at Mayo Scottsdale/Phoenix?

First name in is Dr. Todd Schwedt, he is a NL. He was referred by Patty Fortune Fletcher, she said she loves him.

ok, I have a request out to 3 different people that see Drs. at Mayo Scotts/Phx.  I am waiting for feed back, but will post it here as soon as I get it. Hoping you guys can get some answers for him very soon!!!

You can request that they make an exception and they can submit a request for an appointment with a NS over the phone. Good luck and let us know how it goes :-) Lisa

Would they still have you see a neurokogist first if he has a referral for ns?  We have a referral.

You must see a neurologist first. The following state they specialize in Chiari;
Dr Dodick, Dr Halker, Dr Schwedt, Dr Starling, Dr Vargus

If after seeing a neurologist you wish to see a Neuro Surgeon you may  submit a request to do so, your information will be reviewed and an appointment scheduled if they deem it appropriate.

It generally takes 6 - 8 weeks to see a neurologist.

She goes to Barrow Neuro Institite.  We are conaidering Mayo.

  Hi...we do have a few members out that way, I am not sure if the Drs they go to are posted on the list, so do look there ...and ask Desertstorm...she may be aware of Drs in that area.
