Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.
I saw your name is Allesandro? Not sure if I have the right spelling....and you also are dealing with Epilepsy? I know some with Chiari have developed epilepsy post op....did you have it prior to surgery?
My surgery was in '09 and it took years before I was able to see all of the benefits of the surgery..,,it takes time and it also depends on what else you have going on....surgery does not make Chiari and the symptoms go away, surgery restores CSF flow and sows progression of the condition.
May I ask, what was done with your surgery...there are different ways to do the decompression....plus it really depends on what other related conditions you may have and if they addressed those issues when you had surgery. I read your zapto page but the details that may help me help you were not there,,,,I hope you are able to answer here.
Know you are not alone....many of us were sent to phycologists too and that is not the issue ...hang in there.
