Has anyone else gotten thrush from the meds? If so, just wondereing if anything helped?

  Call ur Dr and they will most likely RX DIFLUCAN.....u can get Thrush from being intubated and getting a scratch in ur throat.......

I had it after ankle surgery....and got on the meds right away and it took care of it...

But if not treated it can make ur tongue swell and make talking difficult....not to say that it could not affect ur breathing....so call ur Dr.

Not from decompression surgery, but I did get thrush after my hysterectomy. It was, um, on my lower backside. :-) All of my babies have used Boudreaux Butt Cream (I know, funny name) and it works 5 times better than Desitin. I used it and it cleared it up in almost a day.
