Best day ever!

I only post this to give hope not to brag. I am over one year post op from brain surgery and 4 months from neck fusion and I was able to ski a half day at keystone today with my family! My ha has been getting better everyday and my stamina is increased greatly! The other crazy thing is I had more balance today than any other time in my life I have skiied. I wanted to share as you have all been with me during the tough times and wanted to share a good. Even if I am bed ridden tomorrow which I doubt it was worth every moment!

Rahe that is the way my family is my kids have skiied since 3 and I missed being part it will happen for you. Thank you all for your encouragement it is nextday am alittle  tired but doing great!

Oh i am soo happy for you.you deserve it so much to have a little chiari break!!!it sounds encouraging for a lot of people.i am glad u share ur experience here.may ur journey be more and more pleasant.big hug for u skiing bunny ;-))

Thanks for posting your post op update. I need to have a decompression and fusion soon. It's so encouraging to hear from those who are doing well after the surgeries. I can't remember what it's like to have strength, stamina, and balance. I'm praying for all of us that we'll soon be able to do things we never thought possible before we know it.

Hi friend !! I am so glad to hear this wonderful news !! Congratulations on a succesful fun filled day with your family. I water ski as we have no snow here, and I am hopeful that maybe by next summer I will be skiing like you. My whole family kneeboards, right down to my 3 year old daughter, and I just cant wait to join them again.
