Chiari and Heart Problems?
Had chiari decompression almost 24 years ago (April 9, 2001). Last MRI after a car accident showed ectopic nerve. I have had a racing heart since before surgery, which lately has been diagnosed as a heart attack due to arrhythmia and enlarged heart. Should I be going to get a c-spine MRI to rule out damage or scar tissue? Anyone experienced heart issues post-op?

I have not heard of issues like this post op...but know there are related conditions such as Syringomyelia which can have heart issues....When you had surgery were ALL related conditions ruled out?
Having a MRI would be a good idea to rule out a syrinx or other possible issues like scar tissue etc...
