Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.
Goodness you are early in your recovery and depending on what you are doing with your days you can/will have pressure headaches...
No bending , lifting, pulling or pushing....rest rest and rest some more...listen to your body...if you have pressure after an activity it may be too soon for it....
As Nellan mentioned above we all heal at our own pace and there is no guideline as to when you can do this or that...your body will let you know.
Now I know I said rest BUT there are exercises you need to do for your neck to help prevent the muscles from getting tight and scar tissue from forming....and walking is the other activity you should be gradually doing more of at this time.
Keep us posted how you are doing....
Hi Grace, welcome to the Chiari Family!!! aka known as (zipper heads) :) you have found a great site!! Most of us on here have had or a loved one has had this surgery, you are only 4 weeks post op, give yourself some time, it takes time to heal and everyone is different,we all heal at our own pace... Don't worry and most of all relax, give it time.sometimes you do have headaches but it will get better, just don't forget it is a major surgery that you have gone thru, and so have I, I speaker from my experience...
