Amazing!

This is more of an update than a question, but I was having a nice flare up of symptoms over the past few weeks.  I decided to try pushing through it all and get some exercising in, walking/jogging/running, biking, light strength training, etc.  Afterwards, I felt great! Well, I decided to fulfill a goal that I had st for myself this year before everything took place.  I am proud to say that I ran my first 5K this past weekend in 29 minutes flat!  I would call that quite an accomplishment for 73 days post decompression!!  And the best part, I haven't had a single symptom pay me a visit since! It seems the more I keep up with a very healthy lifestyle, the better off I am.

Oddly, I got into running the same time I started seriously considering decompression.  I made it my goal to run an 8k before surgery, and completed it a few weeks ago.  With decompression tomorrow, I've been so nervous about not being able to enter running events.  Thanks for the encouragement, and congrats on your accomplishment!

CONGRATULATIONS !! WOW...not many are blessed with that ability and u can be proud that u decided to see how far u could push, and u did so with no issues ....fabulous.

Positive recoveries is what so many waiting on surgery need to hear....those that have these wonderful outcomes usually disappear back to a normal lifestyle and do not share all they are able to do post op.

Thanks sooooooooo much for sharing,.

May u continue to push the envelope.
