P.S. It's hilarious to watch their face when you ask them to prove it!
It's a fancy way of saying "I don't know what this is but I need to make it sound professional." How these NL's can ignore MRI findings clearly showing the true cause is beyond me. I only hope one day enough get sued for delaying the appropriate treatment needed that change will come. The focus needs to remain on evidence based medicine. The truth is that true Migranes, along with so many other diagnosis these Dr's attempt to slap on Chiari, have clear identifiable findings of their OWN! Before I get blasted here, let me acknowledge that many neurological disorders can mimic Chiari. BUT, that is why Dr's are supposed to use, patient history, symptoms and clinical findings! This is what these guys do for a living! They see it everyday and yet, case after case they MISDIAGNOSE! Sorry for that rant but it pisses me off that they don't do a better job when the proof is in black and white in front of their face. Anyone interested in a class action? Lol
Hi sorry I didn't realize u didn't get an answer.....
it can depend on who is using the term...(Dr) as it can be more descriptive term then an actual DX. Such as more then a migraine is going on....with Chiari that seems to be a given for most of us, but to some Drs they tend to ignore Chiari and make the migraine more of a focus.
