Does anyone else have super weird symptoms that come and go??

Hi guys. So I was diagnosed with Chiari 1 and syringomyelia about 2 years ago, had decompression surgery about 1 year ago. Every few days, for just a few minutes at a time, I'll have all these weird symptoms that come on at once and then go away after five to thirty minutes.
For example, I was just sitting at my desk when my foot started to fall asleep. I moved it around, and then my whole calf felt like it was falling asleep, so then I stood up to walk around and my entire leg goes numb, then my feet get really cold, then I just start sweating. But after like two minutes it all went away and I felt fine.
Does anyone else experience things like these?? I feel crazy whenever it happens. Let me know!

Hi, I know Chiari symptoms cycle and can come and go....but what you are describing seems to be more of random symptoms...not symptoms on the whole, if I am following you. These are short bursts.
To me, a regular lay person ( not medical professional) I would say it is due to this being neurological....a nerve is being affected in random bursts. I use to get issues with numbness before I had surgery....I know it took me a few years for some of the odd symptoms to slow down...healing itself can cause a lot of these issues.
Do you know if your syrinx has shrunk? Did you have a one year post op follow up yet?
