Does anyone know what causes thoracic pain and weakness with chiari malformation?

I have chiari but I don't generally suffer too much, other than occasional right sided neck pain, which can be severe.  Recently though, while lifting, I got a deep pain in my thoracic area. Pain has since moved around to my neck and right shoulder, then it moved to my left armpit and now I have a general ache and weakness in my thoracic area and across my shoulders. It is difficult to lift things. I have experienced the same pain and weakness in the past while doing yoga. It would cause my arms and hands to ache afterwards (not the result I was going for from a yoga class!)
I have never had an explanation for this pain. I've had multiple MRI's and nothing has ever been found, except chiari, which doctors say isn't affecting me (??).
Just hoping someone can relate, and help me, and my doctors, figure out the cause of this thoracic pain and weakness caused by straining/lifting.
Thanks!
