Flying/skiing post surgery

I had decompression surgery with C1 laminectomy in April 2012.  I will be flying for the first time next week, and will be spending the weekend with a group from my church in Winter Park, CO.  I am wondering if the altitude will effect my symptoms, either while flying or in the upper elevations of the Rockies.  I will NOT be skiing.  lol

I haven't had any issues flying.
I *was* planing on asking my NS if I could go skydiving this summer at our next appointment, but since I've got some things to discuss and everything's not 100%, I'm going to delay that question.  It never occurred to me to ask about skiing.

LOL...glad u will not be skiing.....

So many have been on planes post op and I have not had ne report a problem....I have suggested just in case to pick up a product called ear planes they would help should u have pressure issues...either in the plane or on the ground with a diff altitude then u r accustomed to.

Have a great time and do let us know how it goes for u : )
