Help!! Excruciating lymphatic swelling two year post surgery;

Petrified
I have swollen lymph nodes all over my neck; parotid swelling at both sides, and these hard, unmoving lymph node bumps- so yes, they will not budge even if you press on it and them

It’s swelling, pain, and mass is increasing. Moreover,
Lymph nodes protruding even on my bones - tell me do you think this is possible as a long term affect via the Chiari surgery? It was the posterior fossa decompression (craniotomy) with partial C1 laminectomy.

And I hate my Chiari doctors because they literally drop you once the operation is done; not to mention minimize all these complications post and ore surgery!!!! >.<

The swelling is also so bad it’s causing my inner ears to ache horribly and nerves numb/tingling all the way down to fingertips. And I really have trouble swallowing again ; facial twitch to side of face when it gets really bad (at the back of skull near incision site), too

And yes ENT confirmed it’s not sinus related; she’s no idea
&
ER confirmed the parotitis (swelling of parotid glands) is neither bacterial nor viral induced.

I’m 25/ a female / and also have XLH (actually what is what induced this whole congenital Chiari thing)

Thanks!!!!!

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.
This is a first for me to hear about these types of post op symptoms. As for the surgeon not helping post op....yes that is typical for any surgeon for any type of surgery...you need a well educated Neurologist to help with post op issues.
Have you had ALL related conditions ruled out? I know you indicated that you do have other medical issues, could these issues be related to that condition....XLH?

The swelling you are experiencing is not something I  have heard of and I do not think it is Chiari related....BUT, I am not a medical professional and I would start with your Drs for your XLH and go from there.
Can you explain your last comment ( actually what is what induced this whole congenital Chiari thing).
