Is flying ok?

My symptoms are usually pretty mild. My ears do get full though and I sometimes feel some head pressure. Any suggestions to help with these symptoms during flying would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, H

Years ago, when I was travelling for work I was getting dizzy on airplanes and didn't know why.  Well, 10 years later I know the answer!  For me, when I sat with my neck kinked back and slept was when I had my worst dizziness, so sitting with your neck properly supported is important for me.  Also, remember to drink a lot.  Flying can be dehydrating.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm  very curious about the hydration/chiari link. A couple months ago, I was having strong dizziness (felt on the top of my head, if that makes sense). It happened suddenly along with fog and extreme fatigue. My blood pressure was lower than usual as well. I have been checked out (mri of head and neck, and have seen a cardiologist and an internist). There was no change in the chiari and my heart is good. The only possible cause suggested was dehydration. Thanks for your input!!

I flew the last time a month b4 my DX....I was ok....but since you get the pressure in your ears look for a product called earplanes...this is to help with that pressure.....and as mentioned above...keep hydrated.

Hope this is helpful.
